P-Track is a satellite exploration app from ClassyBits LLC. Its App Store license uses Apple’s standard End User License Agreement. The information below explains P-Track’s subscriptions and features; it does not replace or amend that agreement.
1. Apple’s standard EULA
Read Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement
That agreement provides the license terms for the app, including the scope of the license, external services, warranties and limitations, subject to applicable law. ClassyBits LLC is the application provider for P-Track.
2. P-Track Pro subscriptions
Tracking supported space stations, including the ISS and Tiangong, is included without a Pro subscription. P-Track Pro unlocks available GPS and Starlink satellite tracking. Monthly and six-month plans provide the same Pro access for different billing periods.
- The purchase screen shows the plan duration, total price, and any applicable offer before you confirm a purchase. Availability and prices may vary by storefront.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. Your purchase confirmation and Apple subscription settings show the applicable billing and renewal details.
- To manage or cancel a subscription on iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and P-Track. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
- Use Restore Purchases in the app with the Apple Account used to subscribe to restore eligible purchases.
- For purchases billed by Apple, request any eligible refund through Apple. See Apple’s refund instructions. Applicable consumer rights are not excluded by this information.
3. Understanding the data
P-Track is designed for education, exploration and casual observation. It is not a navigation, emergency-response, collision-avoidance or spacecraft-control tool, and its displays are not suitable for safety-critical decisions.
- Satellite positions, tracks, passes, altitude and speed are predictions derived from orbital data. Data age, gaps and satellite maneuvers can affect their accuracy and availability.
- “In view” describes a satellite’s geometric position above the local horizon. It does not guarantee that you can see it with your eyes; illumination, brightness, weather and surrounding light also matter.
- Coverage footprints illustrate geometry and do not guarantee communications service. Models and spacecraft orientation are illustrative estimates, not live attitude telemetry.
- The ionosphere overlay uses NOAA GloTEC estimates of total electron content. This modeled space-weather layer is separate from satellite orbital predictions and is not a navigation correction service.
4. Location & connectivity
With your permission, P-Track uses your device’s location for observer-relative features such as elevation, distance and pass information. You can manage location access in iPhone Settings. These features may be limited or unavailable without a suitable observer location.
An internet connection is needed to refresh satellite and space-weather data and to use purchase services. A limited local cache may be available, but it can expire or lack coverage for a satellite or time. The app’s license is separate from its privacy disclosures.
